Campus Visit
Schedule Your Campus Visit
What better way to get to know Hinds Community College than to schedule a visit at any of our six locations! A campus visit includes an information session with an Enrollment Specialist who can answer all your questions about admissions, financial aid, programs of study, housing, and student life, as well as a walking tour to get acquainted with campus facilities and services.
Campus Visit Tips
- Campus visits are scheduled by appointment only, and guests should arrive 15 minutes before the appointment time to check in. If you will be more than five minutes late for your appointment, we will be happy to reschedule your campus visit!
- Since campus visits include a walking tour, guests are encouraged to wear comfortable shoes, as well as to check the weather and dress accordingly.
- Athletic visits or meetings with coaches are not a part of standard campus visits. To maintain compliance with NJCAA recruiting regulations, you must go through the Athletic Department to discuss intercollegiate sports.
- Raymond Campus Housing Tours: residence hall tours are NOT available during the summer and will resume in September. However, new students enrolling in the Fall 2025 semester may see a housing showroom during their New Student Orientation! Prospective students are encouraged to view virtual tours of the residence halls.
- Utica Campus Housing Tours: a residence hall showroom may be toured in the summer months if the tour is booked in advance. Get started below!

Group Tours
Group visits are a great way to expose your students to college and careers! We are happy to try and accommodate Group Tour requests from high schools and special organizations. Please note our following Group Tour policies:
- Group Tours must be booked two weeks in advance and confirmed with the Campus Visit Coordinator.
- The number of students may be limited based on the campus you wish to visit and the programs you wish to see.
- Groups receive priority booking in order of 12th, 11th, 10th, and 9th grades.
- We urge schools to have at least one chaperone per 15 students and kindly request that you stay with the group for the duration of the walking tour.
- We also encourage you to confirm your bus transportation two weeks ahead of time to diminish the risk of canceling the appointment that you book.
