Things to Leave at Home
- Personally-owned air conditioners, washers and dryers, dishwashers, extra refrigerators/freezers, exterior aerials, antennae, or satellite dishes
- Firearms, ammunition, other forms of weapons, fireworks, other explosives, or flammable liquids, such as propane, gasoline, or kerosene;
- Alcohol (empty nor containing alcohol)
- Illegal controlled substances or drug paraphernalia, vapes, Juuls
- Open-coiled appliances such as toasters, toaster ovens, hotplates, electric grills with exposed coils, etc., or space heaters
- Air fryer, air fryer microwave, deep fryer
- Halogen lights or lamps, tubular party lights, rope lights, or Christmas lights, twinkle lights, any non-LED string light
- Heater blanks with the on and off switch
- Extension cords
- Wick burning candles, or incense
- Darts and dart boards, air-guns, air-rifles, paintball guns, paintball rifles, paintballs
- Mopeds, Hoverboards and hoverboard chargers, are not permitted in residence halls.
- Motorcycles are not to be taken into residence halls.
- Electric bikes, personal scooters including electric/battery-powered scooters, skateboards, and one-wheels, are prohibited in the residence halls. These items cannot be stored (or ridden) inside residence hall rooms.
