Our Entertainment Industry Mechanics program, offered at the Utica Campus, will prepare you for a career in the entertainment industry. Throughout the curriculum, you will engage in hands-on training, providing you with the skills needed for the industry, including digital sound, lighting, editing, and stagecraft. You can complete the program in one to two years, and it offers a Career Certificate, Technical Certificate, and/or Associate of Applied Science Degree.

Mississippi has a robust entertainment industry, but your training at Hinds Community College isn’t limited to one state. You’ll be prepared to handle the entertainment industry wherever you find yourself in the future. This is a highly rewarding career that comes with a unique set of challenges, but you’ll be ready to tackle them.
