The Hinds Community College theater group, the Lendon Players, present Arsenic and Old Lace by Joseph Kesselring from Tuesday, April 23 to Friday, April 26 in Brooks Theater on the Raymond Campus. The house will open at 6:30 p.m. and shows begin promptly at 7 p.m.
The play is a comedy revolving around the main character, a drama critic, who must deal with his crazy, homicidal family and local police in Brooklyn, NY, as he debates whether to go through with his recent promise to marry the woman he loves.
Advance tickets are on sale now in the speech, theatre, and dance department located on the first floor of Brooks Hall on the Raymond Campus.
Students may purchase tickets in advance with a valid Hinds ID for only $2.
Ticket prices at the door are $5 for general admission and $3 for students with a valid Hinds ID. Tickets are free for Hinds faculty and staff.
Children under 10 years of age will not be permitted in the theatre.
Seating is limited so reservations or advanced ticket purchases are strongly encouraged.
