RAYMOND – Hinds Community College has selected members of the Hi-Steppers precision dance team for 2020-21.
Returning members include captains April Lee, of Raymond, and Natalie Clanton, of Vicksburg; Merritt Bynum and Courtney Cummins, both of Brandon; and Allyson Hartling, of Clinton.
New members include: Mykayla Balfour, of Brandon, Shelby Bounds, of Florence, Morgan Craft, of Clinton, Jamia Davenport, of Canton, Lachlyn Gregory, of Clinton, Janessa Kersh, of Byram, Kadie Lee, of Raymond, Madie Page, of Carthage, Natalie Peltz, of Brandon, Maddy Smith, Alex Thomas, both of Florence, and Tabriyana White, of Jackson.
The Hinds Hi-Steppers are one of the oldest precision dance lines in the nation and perform at football games, exhibitions, parades, and community and charitable events. The Hi-Steppers are under the direction of Angela Hite of Raymond.
