RAYMOND – Hinds Community College has a new partnership with the Goldman Sachs Foundation to host their 10,000 Small Businesses program in Mississippi at Eagle Ridge Conference Center in Raymond.

Applications are due no later than Nov. 10 with classes free to the businesses to begin in February 2025.

The program is designed for rural state business owners “who are ready to take the next step for their business. We look for applicants who are passionate about growing their business and creating jobs in their communities,” according to the Goldman Sachs Foundation.

The hybrid program includes online classes and in-person classes throughout spring 2025. The in-person classes will be at Eagle Ridge Conference Center, said Dr. Ginger Robbins, Vice President of Workforce Development and Governmental Affairs for Hinds Community College.

“This is a great opportunity for business owners to gain access to tools and knowledge to grow their businesses,” she said. “We are excited to partner with 10,000 Small Businesses in a common mission to move people and communities forward by helping develop their purpose, passion and profession.”
