RAYMOND – Hinds Community College has been named among the best colleges in the nation for 2021 for careers in Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
Utah-based Best Value Schools, an independent academic research group, rated Hinds 12th out of its top 15 ultrasound technology schools nationwide. Programs in the survey covered both two- and four-year institutions and were rated on tuition per credit hour, acceptance rate, number of programs offered, and availability of funding.
The group made note of the program’s accreditation with the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs.
