Balancing function with aesthetics, Peyton Lawler draws inspiraton from the architectural genius of Frank Lloyd Wright, incorporating grids, negative space, repetition and rectilinear lines into her ceramic artwork. Exploring the duality of control and fragility inherent in both nature and arthiteture, Lawler merges structure with organic influences.
Lawler is currently artist-in-residence at Midwestern Stte University in Texas.
