The Utica Campus offers a variety of academic classes. Academic classes are liberal arts classes that generally make up the first two years of any bachelor’s degree. Following an academic plan of study is designed to help you complete an Associate of Arts degree, as well as assist you in a seamless transfer to a university to pursue a bachelor’s degree. So, whether you plan on pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business, Education, Kinesiology, Social Work, Biology, Engineering, or literally more than 200 degree programs, then Academics will be your path at Hinds!

• The Hinds CC UC3T STEM-UP Initiative is sponsored by a grant from the National Science Foundation and is designed to increase the number of minority students who complete Associate Degrees and then pursue a B.S. degree in STEM areas at four-year institutions.
• We challenge students to achieve the highest level of intellectual and personal development through a variety of programs, services, and scholarly and extracurricular activities.
• Generous financial packages are available to students selected for this program.
