RAYMOND – The Hinds Community College Baseball and Softball teams will host the seventh annual Monster Mash fundraiser at Joe G. Moss Field on the Raymond Campus at 6 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 29.
The Monster Mash is an annual fundraiser that features a co-ed softball game between the baseball and softball teams. The student-athletes dress up in costumes and engage in numerous activities with the community’s youth. The event will feature character and costume introductions as well as a “Trunk-or-Treat” event beginning at 6 p.m.
Then at 6:30 p.m., the Eagles baseball team and Lady Eagles softball team will begin a co-ed slow-pitch softball game littered with Halloween personalities ready to serve up some family fun.
All proceeds benefit the Batson Children’s Hospital as part of the Children’s of Mississippi Hospital in Jackson. The hospital is the only medical facility in the state devoted exclusively to the care and treatment of sick and injured children and adolescents. Donations will be accepted on behalf of the hospital as well.
Please come out and support a great cause while having loads of family fun with the Hinds Baseball and Softball teams at Hinds Community College at the seventh annual Monster Mash.
General admission is $5 with children 12 and under free of charge; with a Hinds ID, $2.
