Travel & Tourism Management Technology
Overview
Our Travel and Tourism Management Technology concentration provides specialized instruction and practice to prepare you for a career in tourism and travel. The curriculum will cover travel technology, hospitality management, and travel analytics. You will also learn how to perform reservation functions on a central reservation system (CRS) system. By the end of the program, you will possess a solid foundation in the travel and tourism industry.
Tourism is a stable industry the world over. Mobile and online reservation systems and ride-sharing applications, among other burgeoning technologies, continue to evolve and serve eager travelers. The Travel and Tourism Management Technology program at Hinds Community College will prepare you for any number of career opportunities, including as an event manager, customer service manager, concierge, recreation manager, travel agent, convention planner, or other related position.
