Administrative Office Technology
Overview
Our Administrative Office Technology program is a technical curriculum designed to prepare you for entry-level training in administrative office procedures, integrated computer applications, business financial systems, communication, and related technologies.
We incorporate hands-on, in-depth training with software packages to prepare you for administrative support careers in today’s modern offices. You will study computers, office systems, and procedures. We emphasize communication, organization, interpersonal relations, and critical thinking skills to prepare you for today’s fast-paced business world. Word processors, administrative assistants, data entry clerks, file clerks, and receptionists are just a few of the many careers we prepare you for.
Our program is ideal for you if you’re already in the administrative field and are looking to advance your career with additional knowledge and skills, or looking to enter the workplace with a solidified knowledge base in place. This includes occupational skills training (listed below).
- Comprehensive coverage and integration of basic business skills
- Develop critical-thinking and problem-solving skills for today’s business world
- Establish a foundation in business procedures and ethics
- Generate a variety of business documents such as flyers, newsletters, bulletins, proposals, reports, business cards, greeting cards, brochures, and forms
