Hinds Community College’s 29th annual Golf Fun Fest has been postponed to May 5 because of expected rainy conditions through Thursday.
The golf tournament is at Eagle Ridge Golf Course in Raymond.
This event, the Hinds Community College Foundation’s most popular and successful fundraiser, has produced more than $1.2 million for scholarships and faculty, staff and student development since its beginning.

The day will start with breakfast at 7:30 a.m., followed by the morning tee-off at 8 a.m. At noon, the morning participants will join incoming afternoon golfers at the picnic lunch, followed by the afternoon tee-off at 1 p.m.
The food will be catered by Valley Services, the tournament’s Title Sponsor, and will be come-and-go, buffet-style type for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Dinner will be served at the Golf Course beginning about 5 p.m.
