Housing Checklist

• Students must meet all requirements for admission such as application, transcripts, ACT test, and/or TABE test, etc.
• Students must complete the Application For Housing and return it with a $50 non-refundable room reservation fee to the Housing Office at the Raymond Campus or Utica Campus. Residence Hall priority deadline is April 15.
• Roommate assignments will be made based on the date of the student's room non-refundable room reservation fee receipt. To get the roommate of your choice, both parties should submit an Application for Housing and the reservation fee on the same date.
• Hall Assignments for new students are made according to available space. If the student is not assigned a room, the student will be placed on a list to be assigned according to his/her reservation fee receipt number. Students will be assigned as soon as space is available.
• Students will only be ISSUED A RESIDENCE HALL ROOM KEY if they have done all of the following:

1. Met all admission requirements and registered for at least 12 hours (academic, technical or 16 hours career);
2. Shown proof of payment with a receipt, financial aid award letter for full award and receipt for payment if balance is owed, or payment of half fees on the deferred payment plan. If proof of payment is not shown by the student on check-in day, the student will lose his/her room assignment, and the assignment will be given to the next person on the list; and
3. Attended and completed PART I of the New Residence Hall Student Orientation and registered for the six-week Orientation Class PART II. The student will receive one hour credit plus a grade of performance.
