2008 emeritus class presented at convocation

Bee retired in 2007 after nearly 55 years as director of the college Hi-Steppers; McRaney served the Raymond Campus reading and education department for 31 years, retiring in 2000 after 25 years as department chairman; and Banes, after 40 years with the college agriculture department, retired in 2001, having served as instructor, farm supervisor and bull test station manager.
These newest members bring the college emeriti to 14. The emeritus designation honoring the distinguished service of nominated retired faculty and non-teaching professional staff members began in January 2005.
