Hinds CC extends open registration
01/11/08 - Because of technical difficulties with computer software used for registration, Hinds Community College is extending open registration one more day this week - through Friday, Jan. 11 - and will waive the $30 late registration fee through Jan. 18.
Open registration on Friday will be Jan. 11, 8:15 a.m. until 2 p.m. at all locations.
Classes will begin on Monday, Jan. 14, but students can still register late, Jan. 14-17, 8:15 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., and on Friday, Jan. 18, 8:15 a.m. to 4 p.m.
"We apologize for any inconvenience our students may have experienced as they were trying to complete registration on Wednesday. We want to make sure all students have the opportunity to complete registration and begin their classes," said Clyde Muse, Hinds Community College president.
