Landscape Management Technology The Landscape Management Department at Hinds Community College will be a nationally recognized premier provider of quality education where students gain skills necessary for successful employment in the landscape, irrigation and small engine and equipment repair industries. Leadership skills, professionalism, and skills development will be continual goals of the program for students and faculty. Growth in the program and curriculum will be determined by needs of the Green Industry.

Mission Statement The Mission of the Landscape Management Department is to maintain a quality educational program that consistently exceeds student and industry expectations. Educational experiences include exposure to current Green Industry trends, technologies, best practices, and field experiences. Students enter the job market with progressive, professional skills gained through creative learning from experienced, qualified faculty and staff. Continual growth and innovation through the learning process allows student achievement of personal goals.
