International Programs The Office of International Programs, located on the Raymond campus, is the central administrative office responsible for promoting and coordinating the growth of international studies and programs at all Hinds Community College locations.
International Programs Study Abroad International Students Faculty Resources Global Partners International Development International Trade Center International Programs Committee The purpose of the Hinds Community College International Programs Committee is to direct the development and implementation of the College's International Programs. The committee is co-chaired by Kristi Sather-Smith and Adam Murray.The committee is divided into four subcommittees based on experience and expertise. The subcommittees and members include: Internationalizing Curriculum Responsibilities include approving new International Studies Courses, establishing and maintaining Study Abroad opportunities, and providing professional development opportunities for internationalizing the curriculum. Contract Training Responsibilities include pursuing and writing proposals to obtain international training contracts in order to increase faculty international experience. International Students Responsibilities include assisting the International Student Advisor with new and currently enrolled international students. Tasks also include developing and implementing special programs at the college for international students. International Partnerships Responsibilities include furthering sister college relationships, hosting international visitors, publicizing and promoting international activities on the campuses and determining possibilities for new international partnerships or exchanges.
