IndiaOur mission is to combine the academic, technical and vocation strengths of Hinds Community College with the professional, cultural, and environmental resources of Mississippi to build customized training programs for professionals, communities and other organizations throughout the world.

To accomplish this mission, Hinds Community College is a member of Community Colleges for International Development (CCID). The Community Colleges for International Development, Inc. (CCID) is a non-profit consortium of two-year colleges whose primary mission is international development, especially in vocational/technical education and training, non-formal education and workforce development.

CCID has been incorporated for nearly 25 years and has been engaged in international training activities since its inception.

During the past quarter century, CCID has undertaken development activities on every continent, in well over 100 different countries. At this writing, CCID membership consists of 98 colleges around the world, with 86 in North America. CCID colleges engage in economic development activities in more than 35 different countries.
