About the Department

Located in the McLendon Library Media Center, Instructional Technology operates from 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Instructional Technology is available to faculty, staff, and students for technology-related professional development training and learning opportunities. Due to training sessions and open labs, one-on-one assistance and self-practice sessions are available by appointment only. Please contact our office for appointments.

Instructional Technology offers an open computer lab for students, two computer labs and three lecture style classrooms for faculty, staff and other college personnel. The following resources are made available to support the technology integration needs of faculty, staff, other college personnel and students:

• Compass Test Launcher
• Impatica
• Internet
• Microsoft Office Suite
• MS Choices 2006
• Respondus
• Snag-It 7
• Windows XP
• Wireless Internet Access

A complete set of classroom equipment is available for training and self-practice sessions. The standard equipment set for the classrooms includes:

• Windows-based PC
• Video data projector
• DVD-VCR combo unit with complete audio
• Presentation remote control system
• Projection screen
